Paraplous Wedding in Rethymno, Crete
Maddie and Charlie’s wedding at Paraplous in Rethymno, Crete was centred around a relaxed atmosphere with a strong focus on spending time with their friends and bridal party. With a larger group and a full day of celebrations, the emphasis was on keeping the pace easy and allowing space for genuine interaction throughout.
The styling complemented the setting of the beachside venue, with blue tones running through both the florals and bridesmaids’ dresses. Paired with the natural white and coastal textures of Paraplous, the overall look felt cohesive and well suited to the surroundings without feeling overworked. Earlier in the day, we took the bridal party down to the beach for portraits, keeping the approach informal and reflective of the energy of the group.
As the evening moved on, the focus shifted fully to the party. With extended coverage, we were able to document the atmosphere as it built, including a live saxophone performance and a busy dancefloor that carried through the night. From a photography perspective, the approach remained unobtrusive, capturing moments as they unfolded while maintaining a clean, editorial finish. The result is a collection of images that reflect both the setting and the energy of a Paraplous wedding in Crete.
